WANDA
Wanda Brown Weir is the former 3 year Director/Choreographer of the NBA Washington Wizards Dance Team. Prior to joining the Wizards Dance Team as a dancer Wanda was a cheerleader for the NFL Washington Commanders for two seasons.
Wanda’s instructional and choreography career spans over 25 years and includes numerous high school, all-star and collegiate teams. Most recently she’s the former 5 year head coach for the National championed Catholic University Dance Team and former head coach for the George Washington University Dance Team both in Washington DC.
Since 1999, Wanda has adjudicated for numerous local, state, national and international competitions including The Dance Worlds and the ICU World Cheerleading Championships.
Currently, Wanda is Owner/Creative Director for Premier Dance DC and a sought after dance fitness consultant, speaker, motivational coach & commercial actress/model appearing in numerous local and national ad campaigns along with her family, The Wonder Weirs.
JEN
Jen has over 30 years of experience in hip hop, jazz, and pom as a dancer, choreographer and coach. She was a founding member of the ODU Dance Team, and danced as a graduate student at George Mason University. After college, she performed with Culture Shock DC, co-founded Phenomena Hip Hop troupe, and was an original member of the Urban Moves Hip Hop Company. She also performed for the International Cultural Festival and multi-city tour through China.
She was ten-year head coach for the Madison High School Dance Team, winning three national Pom championships in Orlando; Best Choreography for hip hop at NDA Nationals, and named Coach Mentor of the Year. She also was the 7 year head coach for McLean High School.
Additionally, she has extensive experience in musical theater choreography- and was the National Cappies Theater resident Kennedy Center Gala choreographer for 11 years.
Jennifer founded Adrenaline Dance in 2003 to inspire kids through after school and community programs, which turned into a full studio in 2014.
Jennifer has choreographed for -Washington Chiefs, George Mason University, Capitol Movement Project, Mystics Mayhem, Wizards Dance, NC State's, and many high schools and All Star programs, and established the first All Star All Male Crew in Virginia.
In 2023 Adrenaline studio won 2 Regional Champion titles in one season at World of Dance Boston and New Jersey.
She is a Connections Leader for USASF, Varsity Team Blue, and a member of NDCA, and a member of the USASF Dance Rules committee.
